When I started the search, I was a bit unsure about what the outcome would be. Considering the state of the Toronto market, I didn't think I would be able to land anything worthwhile at my budget. But Shaf was never in doubt. He stuck to what my requirements were, and showed me all available options. He was a genuine sounding board for any concerns, and never tried to push me in any direction. When we had exhausted all options, he told me where I might need to compromise to expand the pool. And the very next place we saw was the one I finalized. Not only that, it nearly fulfilled every requirement that I had when I started this exercise. I am very grateful, and very happy with my decision. I'll start by saying that Shaf is part of my wife's family, and as such, I don't usually like to mix family with professional needs. Initially reluctant to choose him as our realtor, I must say he knocked my expectations out of the water. He is clearly very passionate about finding the right home for every buyer. Ensuring that he understood exactly what we wanted, along with what we could afford and was available in the market, along with his tenured insights on what sellers' intentions are, and negotiating accordingly, Shaf was able to get us our dream home within just a month of looking during the peak of the COVID market (early 2022) - sans bidding war, under asking, and even was able to insert a condition on the offer, which went through! I would not have had the heart to do all this, but I say again that his experience and intuition of what the seller's intentions are is no match. He also follows up with you well after the purchase to ensure all is going well. He is definitely not one of the tens of thousands of realtors out here in Ontario trying to make a buck; on the contrary, this man is out to make a difference and is a diamond in the rough, quite literally. If you're a first time home buyer, a seasoned flipper looking to have a trustworthy realtor in your court, or have just been duped by another realtor trying to undercut commission rates, stop wasting time and reach out to Shaf to get your well deserved 'Realtor Therapy'!
